This was an excellent movie, the 3D effect was awesome and I'd highly recommend seeing it in 3D. The characters were well developed and not at all cartoonish. Jim Carrey was also excellent in his various roles - his voice is so pliable. Very close to the Dickens book.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
