While I liked how abrubtly the ending came in the book, I apreciated the re-arching to fit the whole story into 2 hours-ish. I thought the vamps looked a lot better and the Cullens were truer to their characters than the first film. However, the Hollywood score replacing the integrated indy rock was a bad move. In the first film I was sold when they started that cool song as Bella's plane took off. No such moment in New Moon. Still awesome though.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
