Movie-Great, Theater-Not Great

The W of Oz will always hold a special place in my heart. The AMC/IMAX theater in Rosedale, MN will NOT. During the b&w portion of the movie, a DVR window popped up and left the movie with a weird purple tint. After entering Oz, the movie froze, and the management let us know they were going to do a power cycle to see if they could get rid of the tint. (I didn't even notice it at that point.) We received free tickets, but still. I enjoyed how you could hear some of our audience sing along with the movie and a few children clapped when the witch melted. Then, the theater didn't bring the lights up and everyone basically exited in the dark. To see it on the big screen was great, but the theater's lack of organization really ruined it.,
Yes, I recommend this movie.
