Better than the first

Although, by far, New Moon was better than the first installment of the saga, Twilight- which very narrowly followed the book, it still left much to be desired. Transitions through the "empty" time in Bella's life happened abruptly and did not give the amount of emotion the book gave readers regarding Bella's desperation and lonelieness. It also rolled quickly through Bella and Jacobs time together, preferencing a much longer scene with the Voturri. Kristen Stewart's perf. was still a bit hard for the character and she should soften up for the third movie. The books were well written and I'm a bit critical, but I would still like to see more emotions that are seen in the book on the screen.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
