Good effects and story telling

Avatar was a well crafted movie, with great special affects, pretty decent acting, and an interesting story. My only problem with the movie was the usual - a self hating (or America/Capitalism hating) progressive political focus. This gets really old, is destructive to our society, and tends to make the weak minded start to believe nonsense put out by Jihadists like the leadership of Iran, leftists leaders like Hugo Chavez, and other despots around the world. My hat is still off to Cameron for the visuals, which are way better than any I've seen to date. If the politics don't bother you, you'll probably love this movie.
