Short, fun, and not very deep.

This is a good retelling of the original story, but it doesn't bring anything more to the table. A few quality jokes are thrown in as well as some interesting character personalities, but otherwise this is a very bland movie.
If you do not watch this in 3D, it honestly is not worth your time. The 3D effects are the best part of this movie: they feel less gimmicky than usual and make the viewing experience interesting.
Great children's film, but as a standalone movie, it's questionable.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
