Riveting. Epic. A classic portrayal of an innocent girl exposed to a typical tumultuous life in a terrible unforgiving world. I have never been so angry watching a movie; angry that any parent would subject their own children to such unacceptable circumstances for government welfare and the meaningless love of a filthy man. What’s heart wrenching is, although this was a movie, we KNOW things like this actually occur. Never pass up the opportunity to be kind to people. All that exists in your little world is not all that there is.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
