I purchased the tickets on movietickets.com to ensure that we would have a seat. Unfortunately, it did not say online that I purchased tickets for the "2-D" version and not the "3-D" version. I started watching the film with my daughter and nephew and realized quickly that there was something wrong. Luckily, the theater allowed us to watch the next showing of the 3-D version, but we were charged $3 per person for the 3-D glasses. ANYWAY, please do not make the same mistake we made- the 3-D version was incredible! It amazed me at how life-like the animation was- great effect, very true to the classic tale, and with the right amount of comic relief.
