It was decent

I have never read the books. I went at midnight with all of the zealots to see what the hype was for. It was a good movie, but not great. Think "Running Man" meets "The Truman Show". I did not like that little kids have to kill each other for TV entertainment. My kids will not be going to see this until they are over 15. The acting was good and the score was worth another listen. Overall I was disappointed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

History come to life

This was a very good movie. I enjoyed the historical content and the action was very well done. If you were a fan of Pearl Harbor, then check this movie out! With George Lucas funding the project and Cuba Gooding Jr in the cast you know that your money will be well spent.
