My expectations of this movie were pretty reasonable. It was my least favorite book. However, I don't think that the director used the cast to its full potential. Kristen Stewart reeks of drama, but it wasn't portrayed very well in this movie. Why keep her from belting out in this movie? She's awesome. Never once did I want to cry or tear up at her pain, like I did when reading the book. New Moon was certainly worth seeing if you are a fan of the saga. The movie needed to be longer as many important parts were left out. I hope that Eclipse will be longer and have the ability to capture the true essence of the book. If bad movies can last 2.5+ hours, how about making good movies like Eclipse and Breaking Dawn much longer? We will see...
