Excellent acting and fascinating character made this a terrific film. Creating a likable psychopath is not easy, and the fact that Mesrine actually was alive is haunting.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This film is a brilliantly conceived and rendered portrait which is highly emotional without being maudlin, and intellectual without being "artsy". It portrays the spectrum of human emotions and yet manages to be a triumph of the human spirit. The best movie I've seen this year!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
