Good Movie, Same Plot

Great effects, suspensful moments, same end of the world plot;
However shouldn't every end of the world movie have a family we are all cheering for? I thought cusack and Peet did a good job and God love Woody Harrelson. Even though you know what might and will happen, this is still the first disaster movie in which they actually accomplish destroying the earth.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
