I will use my wife's description she heard from someone else. "Dances With Wolves" In space. Good story line, great effects, see it in 3D, definitely worth it. I read someone else saw it in 3D 3 times and seat location matters. We sat on the edge of the row, and I could see effects, but they probably were better in the middle.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Pretty good, a little campy and cheesy is some spots. Kinda like, "yeah right, like they could do that, or get away from that...."
Overall a good movie. Doesn't compare to Independence Day or day after tomorrow. More plot with those 2 movies.
I would still recommend to see for the effects.
