Good just not Great

Upon reading the other reviews, I felt pretty much the same way as many others. What could have been a great movie was just ok. I thought heart of the movie just wasn't there. The most believable characters were the veterns actors of Cuba Gooding and Terrance Howard. It was great to see so many young black actors but something was just missing from the writing of the movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
