A great way to forget your cares and spend two hours laughing. So nice to see a romantic comedy featuring grownups, after all, we can be pretty silly too. Excellent cast. My only quibble - unless the characters had independent fortunes, except for Baldwin who played a lawyer, they never could have afforded such fancy houses and cars. Then again, I didn't go to this movie expecting gritty realism - LOL.
The soundtrack of my youth! Saw it with friends of all ages and they enjoyed it too. We all laughed and laughed. Many of my favorite actors & they did a great job - especially Phillip Seymour Hoffmann and Bill Nighy. Yes, it was silly and not truly historically accurate (the Dunkirk-like boat brigade at the end) but Who Cares? Everyone can use a good hearty laugh.
