This is not an action movie so don't head for the theaters expecting a film loaded with gunfire and explosions. Instead, writer/director Chris Carter has given audiences a smart, cerebral thriller that will make its audience think about the themes it's exploring. Unlike the first X-Files movie that focussed on the show's complex mythology, this film is a more intimate affair that harkens back to moody stories the television show was famous for. <br> As expected, the chemistry between Gillian Anderson (Scully) and David Duchovny (Mulder) is fantastic. If you loved their interplay on the show, you'll fall in love with them all over again in this movie.
