Special effects are awesome! Storyline is a bit unreal, but worth every penny for the big screen. This is NOT a movie for kids. Having 3 ages 5-9, no matter how much "explaining" you do, it is too young to have them watch movies where people are wiped out in masses and cruel to expose them to that many death scenes involving the personal characters of the movie. The rating is there for a reason and is really a lure for morons who can't afford a sitter AND a movie to keep the money rolling in (less attracts more, not meaning it is appropriate). Unless you love contributing to the desensitization of todays generation leave them at home or wait until it comes out on video and watch it after they are in bed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
