It's really easy these days to think of Iraq as all cleaned up, no big deal, not really much of a war at all. Besides, the real war is in Afghanistan now, right?
Just so we keep our memories green, the Green Zone is a must see. Matt Damon does as amazing job as a chief warrant officer looking for WMD and realizing there are none. It shows the ugliness of war, and makes us pause at how an entire country could have been convinced to go to war based on bad intelligence.
Excellent movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
