The Movie Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire is an excellent movie. This movie teaches you about pain, struggle, abuse, and above all the ability to break through it all. It is nice to see Clarice Precious Jones's transformation and growth. She reaches a point where she overcomes her illiteracy, and faces her abuser (mother) and walks away with her small children in tow with love in her heart and a new found confidence that makes her whole. Go see Precious, if you don't you will be missing out on one amazing film.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
