better than twilight, but nothing special

It followed the book pretty well, until the ending. They added some random dialogue to the end that doesn't really happen until eclipse. The acting was absolutely horrendous, and it actually made me laugh at times because it was so bad. Kristen Stewart is officially the worst actress out there; she can't play the part at all. I don't think the movie depicted Bella's relationship with Jacob and her conflicting feelings very well either. The part with the Volturi was good. Dakota Fanning wasn't anything special as Jane though. This movie was a step up from Twilight, but it was still far from great.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
