A beautiful depiction of real life for so many children that seem to fall between the cracks in a system designed to help them. I think this is a movie that should be viewed by all of those who pursue a degree in Social Work. Mo'Nique was amazing in her role, this is the first time i have seen her in a dramatic role, Gabourey Sidibe as Precious gave a heart wrenching performance. . Both I believe should obtain an Oscar for their performance.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
