This movie was not at all what I expected. When I arrived to the theater people were leaving in tears, I was ready.......Only to be disappointed. The movie was boring and flat. The actors were great, however this is not a actor critique. I wish I would have gotten a heads up. I read the book, didn't really care for it, saw the movie and hated it. I support the cause but the movie did not do justice. I am not undermining the storyline it was very real, I didn't like the movie. Based on all the reviews I don't think I saw the same Precious as everyone else. Too much hype with no back up.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
