As a die hard Saw series fan this movie did not disappoint. Tons of gore, blood and great special effects. The best part was by far all the traps and death scenes. The "plot" itself or rather the dialogue was pretty hilarious in terms of the douchey dude who wrote the book - surely got his up and comings! All the traps for his whiny possie were well executed, literally! The "ending" of the series though in this movie tied together a little too well. It would have been better if they left a little more to the imagination rather than tie up every last detail. My only real complaint is that the 3D aspect could of been a lot better. There's so much more they could have done with it. The previews for other movies had more 3D in it than pretty much the entire movie itself. But overall, its definitely worth the money and best experienced on a cinema screen. Nothing better than full sized guts and gore!

Edge of your seat Thriller!

This movie was quite spectacular. The effects were outstanding - much more than I was expecting. As far as your typical movie goes, I would rate it about an A-. It had some "cheesy" moments and the 15 minute countdown to the end of the world seemed like it lasted almost an hour! But all in all it's definitely worth seeing in theaters. I was hoping they would focus more on the actual Sun wiping out the world (rather than particles from it making the world wipe itself out) but again, it was a great movie. Loads of action, relatively good dialog with a thrilling plot. Don't miss it!!!
