I'm glad I fell into the hype and all that, it was fun (the anticipation, standing in the crowd, etc) But, I was not blown away by New Moon as a film. I have read the entire series, like millions of other people, so it was very hard to compare the deep emotionally and morally torn "book" Bella, to the confused and lost looking "movie" Bella - she did not have the acting depth to pull off that fine line and it ruined it for me. I really don't find any of them (Stewart, Lautner, Pattinson) very great actors to start with, this movie was beyond their abilities. I will see the next movies though and just hope for a better effort.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
