This movie is rivoting, inspiring and just plain "real." As a woman who survived an abusive relationship, I can relate to much of this. I believe that it covers most of what women in general, but black women in particular deal with more often than you know. When are men going to wake up and realize that they are destroying themselves when they abuse/destroy women? Their mother is a woman. My heart goes out to anyone who had to deal with those issues displayed in the video. I give Tyler Perry an excellent review for bringing it to us "live and in living color." I hope men will see it and tell their men friends to see it and let it be the impetus for stopping the violence against women.
This was a refreshing movie for all ages. It was charming, funny, romantic, sad and adventurous all rolled into one, I would definitely recommend this movie for a good family outing.
