For Twihard fans, it may have been a relief to see the movie parallel the book so closely...for me it was too close. It flowed well but there was no real climax to the plot; the part that was supposed to be the climax ignored Edward's and Alice's abilities, rendering them nearly helpless at the hands of less-able fighters. Bella and Jacob's relationship was developed beautifully and Taylor Lautner was impressive considering his development as an actor. The soundtrack left something to be desired; it was boring and incongruent with the emotions being portrayed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
