This was a great movie! Ben Affleck was shockingly very good! If the story weren't based on real events, it would have been a bit far fetched and not credible but the fact that this actually happened made it that much more fun to watch. Incredible story! Alan Arkin is absolutely tremendous in everything he does - this time is no exception. And John Goodman as well - he has seriously come into his own. Awesome actor! Go see this movie. It's worth seeing. Very suspenseful and the story is unreal - yet it IS real!
Pros well paced, great story, great actors

I love Leo but I'm not so sure he was the one for this part. There was a lot of emphasis on his alleged sexual orientation in the movie - OK...I get it...who cares. I would have liked a bit more emphasis on all of the underhanded, dirty, and ultimately illegal things he did. They highlighted a few but there were so many MORE!

Grrreat movie! You REALLY have to pay attn tho! I will definitely rent it to watch it agn to see all the things I missed! But if you just sit, watch & enjoy - and just let it wash over you, you can eventually figure things out enough to really enjoy the experience. Don't overanalyze - there's no time!

I like SIC, don't get me wrong but this was absolutely HORRENDOUS. 2 hrs of my life I'll NEVER get back. For starters, I've BEEN in Abu Dabi and that was CLEARLY a movie set. Secondly - who has THAT many gowns? And those stupid shoes! You go tooling around a foreign country in 6" stilletos? ALL the time? At their age, I do'nt even want to SEE the bunions, corns and blisters. They could break a hip! And lemme tell ya - that was a LOT of make up but face it girls - you're getting pretty long in the tooth AND in the breasts! THEN singing karaoke I Am Woman? PUH-LEASE! How EMBARRASSING! AND ridiculous. Yeah - girl power! They single handedly liberated a whole nation of women with just 1 karoake 70's song! YAY! NOW GO VOTE! How you yentas thought this was 5 stars, I will NEVER understand. You need to get out more and see what an actual GOOD movie looks like. Oh...boo hoo Mr. Big - I kissed Aiden...I can't live with the secret - wha wha. What woman in their right mind would risk their ENTIRE marriage & life on some stupid ass thing that happened 6500 miles away? P.S. Men don't want to hear it ANYway. They're better off not knowing. Don't even waste the time RENTING this dog. HORRID.

I thought it was great but I think that about EVERY Scorcese movie! Leo was awesome and so was Mark Ruffalo. I know the critics weren't that thrilled with it but I thought it was riveting & exciting. Coming out of the theater some said they predicted the end well, I never saw it coming. And if you DID predict it? How they got there was really cool. It was very true to the book, which you don't see that often. I HAVE to see it again, and if you saw it, you'll understand why.
