A little superficial

I know that it's difficult to take a book and turn it into a movie - particularly when the book has so many details and plot twists. To me, this movie tried to do too much and danced around on the surface of EVERYTHING that was in the book. On the upside, Taylor Lautner gave a spectacular performance as the unnaturally confident 16 year old Jacob. The special effects were quite good and the movie satisfied my need for a new Twilight movie fix. I hope that it also worked for anyone who hasn't read the book.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
