Guilty Pleasure to no end- more exciting than book

I've read all of the Twilight books and liked New Moon the least. The movie was way more entertaining because they covered Bella's depression in 2 minutes instead of 200 pages. The special effects were amazing. You know the sinking feeling in your chest when you read the sad parts of the book? Somehow they replicated it in the movie and it was just as touching. I saw it with the girls at the midnight showing on 11/20, and then dragged the husband back with me to see it again a day later. He was entertained by the action scenes. Overall more romance in this one than in Twilight, but the intensity can't touch the kissing scene in Twilight. Oh well, no one's perfect. Can't wait for Eclipse!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
