As obsessed with the Twilight saga as I am, I had major disappointments with the first movie even though I watch it over and over. So I was honestly trying to remain objective when watching New Moon. Did I expect to cry? Yes and I did. What I did not expect? How many great one liners there were. I didn't feel any awkward acting moments like I did in the first movie. Did it leave out parts of the book? Sure. But in my humble opinion, it left out the more boring parts of the book. I was also aware of the necessary changes in plot timeline. Again, understandable for the plot. If I had to be a negative nancy, my only criticism is the continuity errors in the cars and appearances of characters that are not supposed to change.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
