Overall ambitious,with great open-ended finale. Tended to drag though and i felt got away from Batman n Bane at times and focus a tad too much on other characters. BUT, the movie still rocked. Nothing beats Nolan Batman movies for realism. No cartoon like crap here.

I went in with high expectations after the trailers. Heck I would've been happy with at least being slightly entertained. I definitely was not! The move was only mildly interesting in the early stages, than failed to develop. It seems the director was only aiming for the two force fed (oedipal) shock scenes. He should have spent more time making an actual horror movie! Even the normal sex scene was forced and looked terribly awkward. Don't waste your time.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This movie was definitely worthy. The characters Max created were perfect mirrors of his problems. Probably a little too cerebral for common bubble gum Transformers "formula" movie goer. But who cares?! The ending was better the the book, and with all the violence people allow their children to see this was NOTHING. No more darker than video games! Music was very cool. But.. probably too serious subject matter for little ones. Good as Little Princess!
