Long time getting to plot

The movie was 2 hours and 5 minutes long. It took well over an hour to finally get to the plot. Too much time trying to get us to like, or hate the characters. Most the characters were from the first movie so we did not need a long re-introduction to those characters. The special effects were good and the fight scenes were cool. Ending was great
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Thought Disney did a wonderful job on this rendition of A Christmas Carol. I have never been a big fan of 3D movies, but this one was excellent. They did not over do the effects of objects comming at you. The story was done with a bit more darkness in its theme than what Disney usually puts out. One negative is the chase scene with the final spirit. This was way to long. It took away from the story and seemed to be there to add minutes to the movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
