Some of the 3-D effects were dazzling but all the computer generated emotion left me cold. All the magic and wonderment I felt seeing Polar Express in IMAX 3-D was completely absent from this movie. We were with one 4 and one 5 yr old. They were not scared, but both were bored by the end of the movie. I think the dialogue is meant for a more mature crowd.
I am, however, really excited to see AVATAR in IMAX 3-D and for the kiddies, How to train your dragon looks promising.
