I remember being moved by the novel Push when I read it in high school. I was shaken by the fact that the author chose to close with out a happy ending. The movie is just as touching as the book. Some scenes are harder to stomach then others. Mo'Nique was phenomenal! In a nutshell its important that we recognize you never know what's going on in a person's life and it's important that we show compassion to one another.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
