I thought this movie was Very, Very well done. The 3-D effects were the best I have ever seen. However, the movie is down right scary. It is not appropriate for anyone under 9, really under 10. Also, you need to know the story first because it is hard to understand the dialogue (18th century old English) and there is usually dramatic music going on at the same time and you can't hear what they are saying. I think Disney should have toned it down to make it more Christmas and Family orientated and less of a nightmare before Christmas. They could have spent a little more time on the happy part and show how he realized being a good person and enjoying his life was worthwhile. I don't think I would want to see it again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
