The young lady who played Precious was excellent in her role but I have a feeling that it wasn't a far reach for her and therefor she does not deserve an award nomination but she most certainly deserves recognition for her performance. Mo'Nique, however, was stupendous! Paula Patton was very convincing and beautiful, as usual, on screen. Ms Carey really delivered, althought not a very large role either, she was most touching as the social worker and the plain look was very convincing as was her performance. The direction by Mr. Daniels was fulfilling yet it lacked a real depth with regard to the rawness that could have been portrayed in the s**ual abuse scenes. MUST SEE-ENJOY
Yes, I recommend this movie.
