Worth the trip...

Although I was one of maybe 10 males in the whole theater, I bought tickets for the premiere of New Moon for my girlfriends birthday. After waiting 1hr and 30 minutes sitting in the theater abhorrently listening to hundreds of swooning girls/women, finally the movie started. I'd have to say at first I didn't expect it to catch my eye, but by the end of the movie (although it was 2:30am) I was sharing the same excitement that many of the ladies had. I wanted to see more. This was an excellent movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
