This movie was awesome. No other words can describe it. It fleshed out the characters in well-placed flash-backs, like the cartoon used to. The constant personal war between Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow was explained, which after 20 years, was nice to know. The movie rocked non-stop! A must see for any action-movie fan.
What happened to cutting edge? What happened to a storyline that makes sense to the saga? This one had many issues. The first is that they lightsaber fighting was very chunky and angular, not smooth. The jedi weren't real and the live actors moved faster. The plot: someone has stolen Jabba the Hutt's son-what does that have to do with the clone wars? Where was the opening crawl? Where was the theme music? And like all other stories within Starwars that isn't the 6 movies, where is the continuity with the greater story? The animated shorts that were created showed Asaaj Ventress falling into an abyss on Yavin 4. Does this story occur after, this? Why does Anakin have a padawan? This does not make any sense to the greater story?
All I can say about this movie is, it's about time! The role of the Joker, written beautifully, acted perfectly, finally nails the bad guy role. This is the first villain that is not afraid to die and uses fear and anarchy to the fullest through his sick games. Awesome flick!
The cameo's were awesome. Nice to have an Hulk movie that pays homage to that which came before! The sound effects were finally believable, I could have closed my eyes and imagined the Hulk as being 15 foot tall! The abomination was cool too. Can't wait for the sequels to come, if any.
How awesome is this movie? Ahhh man! Action, character evolution, betrayal, and realistic special effects, and a real story line. This event could happen, the mechanics, the situation that created Iron Man, all real.
Special Effects, a love story, religion, the hero's journey, all are included in this film. The digital animals made you jump when they roared, or stomped, or snatching a bad guy! The hero gets the girl...what more can you say! Ancient Egypt, prehistoric animals, cross-cultural unity, overcoming great odds...it's all there. Go see it...do it, do it, DO IT!
