This movie was better than I had expected but I truly do not understand the hysteria and the hype. The acting is great, the characters are well defined and believable for a fantasy. Some of my problems with this film are that it seems you have to have read the books to fully understand this sequel. I found my wife explaining a lot of things to me. Also, this is definitely written, campaigned, and targeted towards women. There are only a handful of action sequences and the rest is a pretentious, teenage, emotional, love triangle story unfolding slowly. I've been reassured by my wife that the action will be in the next film.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
