This was a great take on the classic Dickens story, and the 3-D animation was fabulous. This is NOT a movie for small children, however. Not only was it scary at times (albeit appropriately so, in my opinion), but it also used a lot of Dickens' original 19th century dialogue, so much of what the characters say is likely over younger kids' heads. That being said, if you like this story, it's a must see!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
