Terrible!

Don't get me wrong, who doesn't love a story that is fairly realistic? I'm not someone who is looking for the perfect ending to a movie with the Disney ending. With that said, there is nothing real about this movie. If it is, then the relationship/marriage portrayed on screen is a sad excuse for story telling.
My wife, an avid romance movie connoisseur even hated the movie. The story is slow to develop. The plot is sad at best.
I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone with a sense of taste.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Great Follow Up

Although this movie is not like the first it does have it's calls to the original. Plenty of time is spent in Radiator Springs as all the old characters - sans Doc- are in the film. Might not be Pixars best story, but entertaining and well worth the admission price!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This movie is a fantastic example of what fantasy films can be! It brings to light what most people think..."it must have been a lot better x amount of years ago!"
This film makes you think about the reality that we all live in. Should we chose to focus on the past and what was, we lose out on what is!
Definitely recommend for those who like well thought out films.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I really enjoy the first three Pirates movies. Great entertainment value with fantastic production value. I wasn't too sure what to think heading into the fourth installment.
Anytime more than a couple sequel's are produced I start to think about the Land Before Time cartoons or worse - The Matrix trilogy! (Yikes) But I was plesently surprised by this one!
I am not a huge Penelope Cruz fan (hasn't changed after this movie), but was impressed by her role in Pirates. Johnny Depp as always had be laughing.
Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer did it again! My only request - don't ride this title until no one wants to hear about it anymore!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Sold Movie

Super 8 came out of nowhere to show us that great sci-fi action movies still exist. It also shows us that special effects are not the only thing to make a movie worth our time and money.
Having a cast made up primarily of youngsters, the script is fairly well written and witty. Several times I thought I was watching Corey Feldman's younger brother playing another Mouth type character. Riley Griffiths gives a solid performance.
If you're looking for an entertaining movie that doesn't require a lot of thought or call to action, this is the movie to see. Mash together the adventure of The Goonies with the humor of The Sandlot and add a dash of E.T. and you have Super 8.
Enjoy!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Brilliant!

This movie is brilliant from the very beginning to the very end. Although I do not believe that this is Nolan's most complicated film, I do believe that with such a large budget, it is the most well done!
Who would have thought that Leo, could actually end up being a brilliant actor?! I know that I never did.
Joseph Gordon - Levitt's character is a fantastic role for him.
My only complaint about this move was Ellen Page. She wasn't terrible, but I just feel that she is very unbelievable. Her character is crucial to the entire core of the movie, but she is only interested in one thing.
The cinematography is spectacular. Taking elements of high end special effects and blending those with simple darker shades to create the dream sequences is amazing.
The multi layer plot makes this a movie that can be followed, but for the average person who goes to a movie to just be entertained, it may be too much thinking. If you are looking for a movie that is out of the ordinary, that actually has a plot that is followed, and a film that allows you to walk out understanding a theory for real life...run...don't walk to your nearest theater and see this movie!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
