I watched the movie on DVD before I read the book and watched it at the theater last night at New Moon's premiere. It was better at the theater! The casting was/is perfect! I think Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson IS Bella and Edward. I love Independent movies and it was refreshing to see this one. The cinematography was good. Love the Hoke house.
I was a little disappointed that there was not more dialogue especially when Edward/Bella were getting to know each other and the meadow scene. It would have been great to see the actors play out those scenes. Otherwise, the movie was enough to get me hooked on the Twilight saga!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Highly recommend reading the book before watching as the movie was made for twi-fans. Chris Weitz did a great job bringing in enough Edward into New Moon. Melissa Rosenberg also did a great job adapting for the screenplay. The soundtrack is soooo awesome and glad I waited to watch before buying.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
