Decent adaptation of the book

I just recently read the books so it was still pretty fresh in my mind. I think the movie does justice to the book. It really is geared more towards people who have read the books who would understand aspects of the story without it having to be told on-screen; my husband, who went with me and hasn't read the books, got lost a few times and needed me to explain certain aspects to him afterwards. A fan of the books needs to accept that if they put everything in the movie that would translate to the screen the movie would probably be 5-6 hours long. Overall I think it was a good movie and a decent adaptation.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Good movie but some flaws

I'm a huge fan and have read the books several times and love the movies but I have to say that this one just didn't seem to rank up there with the others. I felt like certain parts of the movie were really rushed and others dragged on. I think overall the new director did a great job with everything except the scene with the wolf pack telepathy - it was just very weird and I know why its never been tackled in a movie before; I'm hoping there isn't more in part 2.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Amazing movie - a MUST see!

I have eagerly awaiting the release of this movie and I was not disappointed! This movie was incredible. It tells a compelling story and it makes the royal family seem much more normal - they are not these perfect beings despite trying to seem it sometimes. What I loved about this movie is that there was an unexpected amount of humor; although not a comedy, it isn't a dry, boring drama that a lot of people might classify this movie as. If you're an anglophile this is a must see!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The Best Potter Film Yet!

I am a huge HP fan and I've been quite disappointed with the last few films (#6 especially) due to the changes that were made to the story, mostly, I suspect, due to time constraints. I was thrilled when I heard they were splitting #7 into two movies and I wasn't disappointed. Yes, its a longer film (about 2.5 hours) but I didn't feel like the film dragged at all - at no point was there a lull that made me wonder where they were going to end it. This is one I will see again in theatres and the only disappointment I have is that I have to wait until July to see the next installment!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A great experience!

I had never seen the Sound of Music on the big screen so that in itself was enough to make this experience worth it. I saw it in Columbus, OH and was disappointed that there were maybe only 15 people in the theater so there wasn't much singing-along. What bumped my experience from 5 stars to 4 was the fact that we had to sit through 30-35 minutes of advertisements from Fanthom Events, who apparently sponsored the event. It was a solid block of advertisements and it was very repetitive. I know there are normally trailers before movies so it had been previews of upcoming events, it wouldn't have been so bad but it was essentially one long commercial for Fantom Events.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Decent Adaptation

I thought the movie was decent - not amazing but not bad either. They stayed pretty true to the book, although some parts were left out I don't feel that it ruined the story line. I feel like this was a better and more true adaptation than the original Twilight movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
