I loved the first movie because it told the story of Micheal as a child, something that the other Halloween movies did not do. This movie does a good job of telling the rest of the story and starting where the first one left off. The only thing that I did not like was how Dr. Loomis was portrayed. I do like the twist ending which did not follow the original Halloween's past. Rob Zombie stays true with being graphic and outrageous with the flash backs and stabbing scenes.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
