New Moon was so much better than Twilight, it's almost ridiculous. Chris Weitz [director] actually knew what he was doing, and had probably actually read the book, unlike Twilight's director Catherine Hardwick. The actors had grown and matured and did a much better job of getting into character, and the lighting/special effects didn't make you want to throw up [unlike Twilight]. They stayed very close to the book's original plot, but any added scenes/bits made it BETTER, and didn't retract from the movie. All in all, I hope to see them do this well in Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, as well. They hype was well deserved.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
