With a 19 hour day and a 30 minute drive to watch the late night IMax showing, I hoped the show would be worth for my efforts.
I've watched singers in comeback performances. With the most recent one, I cringed at how obviously efforting it was and how the performer's voice quality was no longer exceptional or even close to what it used to be. Just listening to a 2+ minute song when this was the case, I prayed for it to be over.
From the beginning of "This Is It" through the end credits I was riveted, alert and smiling.
MJ was EFFORTLESS and fully current. Commanding in dance. Stunning in song. Gifted in directing. Awesome in choreographing.
MJ left the world a motivational, impact-full, final parting gift.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
