Disney's past Princess movies were box office smashes and Disney's new Princess and the Frog was a box office smush...rated G should have been rate PG...Voo-Doo and Hoo-Doo of old time New Orleans, Tara Cards and Demons was not a good look....I feel that Disney needs to go back to the drawing board with a different story line and re-write this new Princess in a better light before the light goes out in the Disney Studios for good...
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Definitely An Oscar Nod

The movie was riveting, unnerving and extraordinarily sculpted to make one believe that you were actually witnessing the tragic childhood that this young lady had endured. I left there feeling compelled to reach out to all the Precious's of the world and mentally exhausted with a lot more emotion than I had anticipated. I will definitely have to go and see this again just to make sure that I did not miss anything between wiping away the tears.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
