I was sorry this movie was not very good even though it was written by Ricky Gervais and had a lot of good people in it. The first thing that bothered me was that the premise that people had no concept of lying was so overshadowed by the fact that everyone kept blurting out whatever they were thinking. That's not the same thing as not lying. Also, the only thing Jennifer Garner's character had going for her was her attractiveness. Why was Ricky interested in her? She was superficial and uninteresting (but pretty). . Pretty sexist premise. However, as an agnostic, I was pleasantly surprised by the anti-religion aspect, which I had not known was in the movie before hand. Good concept for a movie - wish it had been executed better.
