I was expecting the movie to be action packed, but was pleasantly surprised at the balance between romance, action, suspense, and humor. The pace was perfect ... not too fast, not too slow with the main elements of the book left intact. Although Bryce Howard did an excellent job, I really think that the Victoria character would have been more menacing and felt like more of a threat had it been played by Rachel LeFevre. Once again, the soundtrack was awesome. Favorite scenes ... Charlie/Bella and "the talk", Edward/Bella in Edward's bedroom, and Edward/Jacob in the tent.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
