Well Worth the Wait

I have been waiting to see this since I first saw the trailers- and I was not at all disappointed. If you are a movie buff that is looking for gore and blood- lots of action and drama-- this is NOT a movie for you.
However, if you, like me, is looking for insight into who Amelia Earheart was- the person- this was a very enjoyable, insightful movie.
I felt that Hilary Swank did an exceptional job portraying Amelia- accent, mannerisms and somewhat dry personality. Richard Gere came across as being the man behind the legend...
Even though you knew how the movie was going to end-- ultimately-- there was no sense of disappointment that it did not end in fire and flash--
At least, not for anyone in our party!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
